Potters are one the UK’s major herbal medicines producers and have recently relocated their Wigan production site from a mill in the town to a purpose built state of the art facility on the Martland Park Industrial Estate. Part of the move included the installation of a new cooling tower and H₂O Chemicals Limited have been award an extended contract to provide chemicals and services for this new tower as well as the site steam boiler. In addition, to the supply of chemicals and services H₂O have supplied chemical dosing and control equipment and cleaning expertise for routine tower disinfections.

Site personnel have also taken the opportunity to refresh their own knowledge of the risks from Legionnaires Disease by attending two public training courses which were held recently by H₂O Chemicals Limited in the NW of England. Site personnel at Potters have shown that they take the business of Legionella awareness very seriously and working with H₂O any risks from their water systems will be minimised.
