H20 Chemicals Limited have recently been awarded a water treatment contract with part of one of the UK’s major food manufacturing groups. Premier Foods plc which are famous for brands such as Ambrosia, Batchelors, Birds, Bisto, Quorn, Branston, Haywards, Paxo and Lloyd Grossman, amongst many others, have recently awarded H2O Chemicals a water treatment contract at their Sarsons Malt Vinegar brewery in Manchester. The contract will include both products and services to cover all of the site utilities and cooling services, as well as monitoring to assist in the area of compliance with current legislation, particularly with Legionella prevention. The work with Sarsons will also include the refurbishment of some of the site cooling towers, with new pack and drift eliminators, as well as installation of a state of the art cooling water monitoring system. The latter is designed to give continuous monitoring of critical cooling systems with the facility to raise alarms if parameters go outside the set points. In addition to alarm monitoring, these systems will also be able to record specific parameters at regular intervals which means that all this information can be presented as graphs for further trend analysis by both site personnel and H2O Chemicals staff.
The team at H2O Chemicals are particularly excited by the prospect of working with Sarsons staff and are looking to develop a long term business relationship which will prove to be mutually beneficial over years to come.
