H2O CHEMICALS LTD ARE "WELCOME" AT YORK UNIVERSITY

The National Science Learning Centre opened on the 1 November 2005. Independent biomedical research charity, the Wellcome Trust is providing £25 million to fund the Centre. It is housed at the University of York in a purpose built, high-tech venue - the only one of its kind in the world and provides professional development for teachers of science and technicians from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

H2O Chemicals Ltd was awarded the contract for Legionella Control for the National Science Learning Centre and associated residential accommodation earlier this year.
Andy Martin the facilities manager for the site is pictured here with Julie Hargreaves, Technical Manager for H2O Chemicals Ltd and responsible for this account.

Andy has previous facilities management and Legionella control experience from the former Terry’s of York factory which has recently closed. He was particularly impressed with the high standard of the Legionella Risk Assessment and gave the following comment
‘The risk assessment carried out by H2O Chemicals Ltd was straight forward and easy to understand – it highlighted the important issues and identified clearly the actions to be taken. The schematic diagrams were comprehensive and accurate’.
