Introduction

Air conditioning drip pans harbour harmful debris and micro-organisms which can lead to indoor air quality problems and respiratory problems for those within the buildings.

Evidence suggests that air from the air conditioning systems is the most frequent source of micro-biological contamination within buildings. In the majority of cases, buildings have become contaminated with mould spores and other harmful organic matter, simply from the lack of hygiene of the system.

STAYCLEAN Strips should be placed in the condensate tray to be slowly dissolved by the condensate during the normal cooling cycle. This unique strip will protect the water surface in the condensate tray, thus helping to prevent the build-up of bacteria moulds and fungus.
