Introduction
By design air conditioning and refrigeration systems move large quantities of air from which heat and humidity are removed and condensation created. Bacteria and fungal spores are naturally present in the air and, when circulated many times, can become concentrated.
Reasons
Condensate trays provide the perfect environment for microbiological growth due to condensation from the cooling coil, if left unchecked this growth can increase potentially blocking the coil. This can lead to

- Reduced cooling effect
- Increased power consumption
- The source of objectionable smells

STAYCLEAN has been developed to overcome all of these problems and yet be safe and easy to apply. STAYCLEAN contains a UV additive that guarantees long lasting protection enabling maintenance checks to be conducted over a wider time frame.
When correctly applied STAYCLEAN will remain active on the cooling coil and condensate tray regardless of the amount of condensate present and will provide ongoing protection.
STAYCLEAN is also available in a non-hazardous water based format.
