Mechanical ventilation and air conditioning systems can fail to fulfil their purpose of maintaining appropriate air quality and environmental comfort conditions within the work environment. For this reason, the workplace regulations impose conditions which ensure that the equipment should be maintained and cleaned in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair.

The regulations also ask that mechanical ventilation systems (including air conditioning) should be regularly and properly cleaned, tested and maintained to ensure that they are free from anything which may contaminate the air.

Our indoor air quality risk assessment starts the process of ensuring the regulations are complied with and assists in making the equipment provide the correct quality air for your colleagues and customers. All areas of the supplied air are examined and if necessary, include a ventilation hygiene survey to look at various aspects of the plant.

Once the risk assessment and survey are complete, they will detail areas where ongoing monitoring or remedial work is required. Recommendations will be supported by photographic evidence. Recommendations may also include manual and chemical cleaning using BSRIA and CIBSE codes as guidelines.

It is well known that the air we breathe has a direct effect on our performance. What is the most important function you will perform today? Let H2O Chemicals make it happen in the most productive atmosphere.
